The Port of Houston handles almost 70% of the containerized cargo market in the U.S. Gulf and 75% of the containers moved through Texas seaports. Ceres Gulf provides both container storage and intermodal storage in Houston, TX at the Barbours Cut Terminal under our JV Company Texas Stevedoring Services (partnership with Hapag Lloyd Americas). In addition, Ceres Gulf operates at the Bayport Container Terminal as Houston Terminal with our JV partner, Terminal Investment Limited (TiL). Together, Ceres handles a total of over 1.4 million containers per year in Houston.

Ceres & Gulf Winds further 14-year strategic relationship to deliver a best in class Dedicated CY and Dedicated Trucking Solution. The container yard is 75 acres off terminal depot, directly adjacent to Port Houston’s Barbour’s Cut Terminal. Ceres will provide grounded intermodal and container services to help industry maximize chassis efficiencies and the ability to maximize port turns.
