Tampa
Welcome to Tampa, FL
The word, Tampa, may mean "sticks of fire" in the language of the Calusa Indians or a reference to the many lightning strikes that the area receives during the summer months.
Tampa
The Port of Tampa is Florida’s largest port in area and a major cruise homeport with first class facilities. Tampa is becoming a favorite port of departure for a growing number of Caribbean cruise passengers.
At the center of it all is Ceres Cruise Services. Ceres provides cruise stevedoring and terminal management/operations for the Port’s modern, state-of-the-art passenger terminals. Tampa’s Cruise Terminal #2 is home to Carnival Cruise Lines and Terminal #3 is home to Holland America Line and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. Terminal #6 will be home to Norwegian Cruise Line in 2012. Ceres handles approximately 180 vessel calls in the Port annually.
