New Orleans

The Port of New Orleans is the center for international trade and the only deep-water port in the United States served by six, class one railroads. Ceres operates New Orleans Terminal LLC (NOT) in a joint venture with Container Marine Terminals LLC at the Napoleon Avenue Terminal. This is New Orleans’ modern terminal container facility that was the first to utilize computerized portals at the gate complex. NOT handles 165,000 containers per annum and also operates the on-dock rail terminal. We also provide chassis repair services, stripping/stuffing at our container freight station, grain transfer to containers from barge, rail and hopper trucks, as well as rail terminal services. Ceres Cruise Services operates at The Julia Street Cruise Terminal Complex handling Norwegian Cruise Line and Royal Caribbean International.
