Craig has been with Ceres since 2020, overseeing 20 locations and numerous investment infrastructure projects. A seasoned Chief Executive Officer with over 30 years of experience in the logistics and supply chain industry. Craig is an accomplished business leader and former CEO of Sealand America’s, a Maersk Company, where he was responsible for activity in the North American / Latin American trade lanes. He holds a master's degree in Transportation from the University of Denver – ITI, along with a Green Belt certificate. Craig has won two Stevie Awards, served on the North Carolina Maritime Advisory council 2012, was an executive committee member of OCEMA and served on the customer advisory committee BNSF. His executive leadership and strategic direction drive a hands-on approach to business giving customers a consistent and reliable service.
Peter brings more than 30 years’ experience in the finance industry to Ceres. Prior to joining the company in 2015, Peter was CFO of Hanjin Terminals/TTI, Asset Director of Macquarie Korea Opportunities Fund, Head of Infrastructure Investments at Samsung Engineering, Chairman of Muharraq Water BSC (Bahrain) and held senior roles in investment banking / M&A for over 10 years. He is a graduate of the University of Technology, Sydney (Bachelor of Business) and the University of Sydney (Master of Arts) and has also completed a Masters in Applied Finance and is a Fellow of CPA Australia.
Since retiring from the Canadian Military and joining Ceres in 2000, Adam has held various operational and administrative roles, including positions in Halifax (Nova Scotia), Vancouver (British Columbia), and Houston (Texas). He has been with Ceres for over 22 years and is currently responsible for operations for 18 locations in North America. Adam holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) and Master’s in Business Administration (MBA).
Alana joined Ceres in 2021 and has extensive experience in communications and public relations. Since 2015, she has held various political leadership positions, currently representing Ceres with the National Waterfront Employers Association and was appointed by Governor Lee to the Board of Directors on the TN Community Services Agency At-Large from 2022 to 2026, where she represents Ceres by focusing on the value of community outreach. Alana holds a bachelor’s degree in Interpersonal Communication with a focus on leadership from Trevecca Nazarene University, is currently working toward a marketing certification from Vanderbilt University, and is a Certified Port Executive.
Chief Human Resources Officer
& President of OptimPorts
Zach has spent the last 14 years in the port and marine terminal infrastructure space serving in leadership roles within Human Resource, Finance, and IT disciplines. Currently, Zach assumes dual roles serving both as Senior Vice President and CHRO of Ceres Terminals Holdings, LLC and President and CEO of OptimPorts, a standalone entity held by Ceres Terminals Holdings, LLC. Prior to joining Ceres, Zach practiced with KPMG LLP and Crowe LLP providing management and financial consulting services. Zach is a licensed Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Information Systems Auditor and holds a BBA with double major in Accounting and Finance from Cumberland University. Zach and his wife Isabel enjoy golf and tennis and spending time with family and their two goldendoodles.
Dave provides leadership and strategic oversight for Cyber-Security and information technology activities across Ceres Terminals 20 locations and 9 joint ventures. He joined Ceres in 2006 as Director of Infrastructure and Networks. He has over 20 years of experience in the field of information technology with prior roles in health care and network and security consulting. Dave graduated from Suffolk University in Boston, MA with a BA in English, along with advanced technology training throughout his career.
Formerly the Head of PMO for Ceres, Doug has been within the broader organization since 2012 and has over 20 years of maritime industry experience from postings around the World. Doug holds an MBA from Rutgers University and a BA — Marine Affairs and Political Science from the University of Rhode Island. Doug leads the organization’s strategic commercial operations from development to execution to include business development, marketing, sales, and customer management in alignment with growth targets.
Victor served over 21 years in the U.S. Air Force, retiring in 2016 as a Senior Master Sergeant (E8). He holds a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, Business Administration, and Aviation from Liberty University, is a Certified Safety Professional, Associate Safety Professional, and holds numerous safety certifications with over 18 years of experience in Health, Safety, Security and Environmental management.
Gareth is an executive leader with over 15 years of extensive international experience in infrastructure private equity and fund management. Prior to joining Ceres, he spent 13 years at the Macquarie Group. Gareth holds a Master of Finance from INSEAD, and degrees in Law and Economics from The University of Western Australia. Gareth’s strategic leadership places Ceres in a strong position for growth in the infrastructure investment space.
